My Ankle Is Feeling Better!
My ankle is feeling so much better that I wonder if I even need my physical therapy appointment on Monday. Uh oh. I just realized Monday is Veteran's Day--a holiday. The kids won't be in school. Dang it! I had so perfectly scheduled that appointment while both boys would be at school--guess I'll have to call and change it tomorrow.
Anyway, I think I will still go to my appointment (if I can reschedule it for a better time) because I am currently taking an anti-inflammatory prescription for my ankle, and I'd rather be healthy enough to work out without a prescription.
It's been great feeling more comfortable with cardio. Today I was going to do a Legs premix from Amy Bento's Slo-Mo Strength Challenge, but after doing some step aerobics I decided to switch to just doing the lower body stuff from Tracy Effinger's Squeeze workout. I just felt a little nervous about going heavy with weights for my legs since they're so out of practice. Plus, when I was stepping I had really crackly knees again which kind of freaks me out. I've heard it's no big deal if it's not accompanied by pain, but it still kind of freaks me out.
This is a rather random blog entry. I think I'm just tired--that little one hour time change with the end of Daylight Savings has really thrown me for a loop. Time to go to bed. Have a great workout tomorrow, everyone!
