I Have a Bosu Now
I have been thinking about getting a Bosu Balance Trainer for a while now, and I’ve finally just gone ahead and done it. It looks like fun but I haven’t really tried it out yet (except stepping up and down a bit and attempting some balancing).
The Bosu is supposed to be great for balance training and core strengthening. It can be used for cardio workouts as well as strength training.
My main interest in getting a Bosu is that I’ve preordered a couple new workouts that are coming out soon (probably be shipped by the end of the month) which use the Bosu. Both also have the option of using a step instead, but I decided I wanted to go ahead and have the full experience, so I got the Bosu (also sometimes called a dome). One is Tracey Staehle’s new DVD: The Parts Series, which includes some Bosu work. I have also preordered her High Intensity Step Mix 2 workout, which uses a step rather than a Bosu. You can see clips of both new DVDs here. The other is Amy Bento’s new series, which uses the Bosu on her Hi-Lo Dome Challenge. Click here to find out more about all Amy’s new workouts.
Do any of my readers have a Bosu? Feel free to add a comment if you want to review your Bosu experience for us.
