Today's Meandering Thoughts
I've made a few changes to the Fitness Tools Available to Download--primarily by adding a new rotation to the Workout Rotation Ideas document. A fellow Cathe forum member asked me to work up a rotation for her, so I did that and added it to the list.
Today I had so much fun doing the first 3 combos of Amy Bento's Advanced Step Challenge 2. So much fun, in fact, that I'm considering doing the next 2 combos tomorrow, though it was planned to be a rest day. I highly recommend this workout if you love stepping and don't mind a bit of a learning curve--it's complex but not impossible. I love the music and Amy's bouncy energy. After ASC2 I did Chalene Johnson's Bosu: Long & Lean, and also really enjoyed that one--very unique Pilates and yoga moves on the Bosu. They were actually very standard moves, but seem much different incorporating the Bosu.
I find the results (so far) from the latest poll interesting to compare to the results of the last one. Last time I asked how many days a week everyone worked out, and this time I asked how many hours a week. There seemed to be a lot more variation to the days per week than there are to the hours per week. So far the majority work out 6-10 hours per week. Of course, I probably shouldn't make too many generalizations yet, since as of now (1/12/08) there are only 19 votes on the current poll, but the last poll had a total of 51 votes by the time I closed it.
