Next Week With a Tender Ankle
I'm trying to figure out how to work out this week with my sprained ankle. I'm thinking I'll take it pretty easy for the next week or two and then start working back up to more regular workouts. I definitely do not want to overdo it again and end up in physical therapy.
So this week will be mainly upper body and yoga, and for lower body I'll stick to simple ankle and knee exercises I learned to do in therapy.
Monday.............Yin Yoga (Jennifer Kries) & physical therapy exercises
Tuesday.............30-Minutes to Fitness--both workouts minus lower body (Kelly Coffey-Meyer)
Wednesday........Yogini Workout (Ellen Barrett) & physical therapy exercises
Thursday...........Slim, Strong & Sexy Body Sculpt: Upper Body (Michelle Dozois)
Friday................Crunch: Candlelight Yoga (Sara Ivanhoe) & physical therapy exercises
Saturday............The Parts Series: Strictly Upper Body (Tracey Staehle)
Sunday.............. rest
The good news is my ankle feels a little better every day. I figure some special exercises this week along with yoga is the right way to treat it for now.
