I Don’t Need any More Injuries!

Someone please tell me I didn’t just get an upper body injury, too. I was doing yet another upper body workout today (an upper body premix from Amy Bento’s All Pump Xtreme) when I had a sudden major pain. I was doing these shoulder throwback exercises with tubing--you have one foot on the tube and both arms extend forward and then throw back (anything with throwback in the exercise title should have been a warning to a klutz like me). So now I hurt on the left side of my upper back--like the delt area, I guess (I’m not up on the terminology). It hurts most when I just turn my head toward that side as if too look over my left shoulder. What’s up with that? I sure hope this is not another long-lasting injury. I’m already not doing cardio or much lower body. What will happen if i can’t do upper body either? Eek! I guess if it’s still hurting when I go to the doctor on Monday I’ll just say, “OK, I came for this ankle injury, but I’ve also got this shoulder thing going on....” She’s going to wonder what I’m doing to myself.
